Ballarat Disc Sports is a not-for-profit sporting club run by a committee of passionate people. The club aims to bring as many playing opportunities as possible to Ballarat for both Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf. The club organizes various events for both disc sports under the operating names Ballarat Ultimate Frisbee and Ballarat Disc Golf.

The club was originally established as Ballarat Ultimate Inc in 2011 to bring the sport of  Ultimate to regional Victoria. Then came the  installation of the Victoria Park Disc Golf course in 2019 by Ballarat City Council. It had a large amount of interest from the community so Ballarat Ultimate Inc decided to branch off into offering events and social leagues for Disc Golf as well. This saw the creation of Ballarat Disc Sports in 2021.

With multiple local sponsor partnerships such as The Red Lion and GUF games, Ballarat Disc Sports continues to grow and remains Ballarat's prime driver for recreational and competitive players of Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf.
